Information services and library
The Urban Research and Statistics Library is open to the public and specialises in Helsinki-related statistics and research, as well as providing information service.
The central collection of the library consists of publications produced by City of Helsinki departments. The collection also contains national statistics, statistical publications on European cities as well as publications related to urban research. Information service on the statistics concerning Helsinki is an essential part of the library operations. You can send a short information request concerning statistics of Helsinki using the feedback form.
The publications can be borrowed by anyone. Interlibrary loans are sent to other libraries from the collections.
The library will remain closed during the move to new premises in the Urban Environment House, and will reopen to the public in autumn 2023.
